New Homes Broken Arrow | Enough Room for a Growing Family

Speaker 1: (00:01)
Hey guys, it’s Catherine, back here again with another weekly podcast about new homes broken arrow. Once again, I’m with Shaw homes, we’re one of Tulsa’s largest builders. We’re currently building in 38 communities in the Tulsa area. And every week I like to get on here and do a little podcast about new homes broken arrow. Sometimes it’s about what Shaw’s offering. Sometimes it’s just about, um, school districts in the area, decorating ideas, anything that has to do with new homes in broken arrow or our community. I like to talk about it. So I thought today we would go ahead and continue on a little bit about what we were talking about on the last one. And that was about fitting large furniture into your new homes broken arrow. So like I said before, a lot of stuff, um, is a lot of furniture is just becoming larger.

Speaker 1: (01:10)
Um, and more elegant. A lot of people still seem to, um, live by the idea that bigger is better and that it creates a sense of, um, accomplishment and makes you look more distinguished, the bigger and the prettier things are. So with that being the style right now, it’s really important that when building new homes broken arrow, we pay attention to things like that. And we’re able to make sure that all of your furniture is going to fit into your new home in broken arrow. Another thing that we at Shaw homes are trying to do is not necessarily make, um, room for all of your things, but we like to make time for your family as well. So with new homes broken arrow, a lot of them are going to have your open concept floor plan, which is really nice and also really important because it allows you to spend more time with your family.

Speaker 1: (02:26)
Our home is more than just a place that we eat and sleep. It’s a time it’s a place where you have in your new home, in broken arrow. You’re going to have parties. You’re going to have life events. You’re going to have, um, somebody might be having a baby, somebody, may I be getting married, there, all different kinds of things and reasons why you would have want to have a new home in broken arrow. That was nice that you could entertain in. So that’s another thing that we try to do when planning the function of our homes is just to make sure that you have, um, an open floor plan and plenty of space to entertain and for your family to grow. Also, a lot of times we hear that our bedrooms are not large enough and our new homes broken arrow. And it’s not that we want to create small bedrooms.

Speaker 1: (03:29)
It’s just that we listened to our customers and we know that family time is very important to them. So it’s tough to spend time with your family whenever you have your kids, um, hold up in their bedroom the whole entire time. So the idea behind keeping the bedrooms a little bit smaller is that people, kids will want to be out in the house with them in their new home, in broken arrow and not just closed up in their bedroom. This is really good also for children’s social skills and for, um, teaching them, um, about how to respect other space and how to, um, function in a home. So by keeping the bedrooms smaller, you are, um, making it less likely that your child will want to stay in there and be bored. And they’ll want to come out to your larger areas of your home and interact with everybody and, um, to, to really use your home for what it’s meant to be used for.

Speaker 1: (05:01)
And that is to spend time with your family and to maintain it and just to enjoy your new home in broken arrow and general. Um, another really neat thing about a lot of our homes and broken arrow. When we think about family and family time are going to be a lot of the amenities around your neighborhood. Um, it’s not just about, you know, having kids down the street to play with anymore. A lot of, um, ways that we help your family function by building you a new home in broken arrow is not just by building you and having you purchase a new home in broken arrow. We also want you to love the community that you live in, therefore, um, being able to spend more time in your neighborhood, um, with your family. So some of the things that we’re offering in some of our neighborhoods that are really unique for families, um, that can really get you some of that quality time,

Speaker 2: (06:09)
Time that you’ve been looking for, especially after moving into your new home in broken arrow, the first thing is going to be neighborhood pools. A lot of our communities will have a neighborhood pool, and this is a great way

Speaker 1: (06:23)
For you to spend time with your family. Um, just don’t forget the sunscreen, a lot of your new homes broken arrow. A lot of these communities are going to have a neighborhood pool. Um, your neighborhood association or HOA will help to maintain that pool. And like I said, it’s just a great thing for, um, communities with new homes broken arrow, uh, for you guys to be on the lookout is that most of your new neighborhoods are going to have, um, a pool as

Speaker 2: (06:59)
An amenity. Also, another

Speaker 1: (07:02)
Thing that, um, your new homes broken arrow

Speaker 2: (07:07)
Are going to have as well are going to be, um, parks. There are quite a few

Speaker 1: (07:15)
Parks in new home communities and broken arrow, and this is going to be anything from,

Speaker 2: (07:21)
Um, playground equipment to soccer fields, to basketball goals. Um, walking trails are really popular right now with new homes and broken arrow. Everybody wants to be outside and enjoying life and with their families. And so you’re going to find a lot of outdoor amenities. Um, like I said, in new home communities in broken arrow. So your pools, your parks, your walking trails, we’re even building in some communities that have golf courses. So that’s always, um, a really great thing to look out for when shopping for new homes broken arrow is going to be all of those amenities. Um, I’m trying to think of what else. So you’ve got, um, playgrounds pools, uh, walking trails. Some of our communities are going to have fishing pawns. Um, so new homes, if you’re, if you’re thinking about building new homes  Broken arrow, then, um, I’m sure at least somebody in your family being from Oklahoma is going to be a fishermen.

Speaker 2: (08:32)
And so this is another great thing to keep in mind. Um, whenever building new homes in broken arrow, that, uh, there is going to be, um, a fish pond, um, either in your community or somewhere close by. So some other things that, um, uh, some other amenities that some of these new home communities are going to offer, um, like I said, basketball goals, soccer fields, um, some of them may even have a splash pad. And if a lot of these come, like most of these communities have new homes broken arrow are going to have these things for some reason, if they don’t, for some reason, if they don’t have these things, you’re always going to be able to find them nearby in communities of new homes broken arrow. Another thing as far as amenities go, like I said, neighborhood pools are great because it gets very, very, very hot here in the summer.

Speaker 2: (09:38)
And it’s a really inexpensive way to entertain your kids and cool down, um, when moving into your new home in broken arrow, because your kids are going to absolutely love getting to see their friends all summer getting to socialize, getting exercise, and then also just being able to be out in their community and be a kid. So I hope that you guys got some value, valuable information about amenities that we offer, um, and our new homes in broken arrow. And we’ll see you next time for another podcast where we’ll give you some more information on new homes broken arrow. Thanks a lot. Bye.
