Here are the essential 10 steps of building or buying a new homes in broken arrow. Oklahoma, you may have heard people speak of buying a new home or perhaps even more so building a new home and how difficult or even stressful that event can be in your life. They may have spoken about it from their own experience, uh, and how the, the stress that came from that life event now has become the basis from which they, uh, they judge the home building process. And perhaps they’ve communicated that to you while you’re endeavoring to build your new homes in broken arrow. And they’re communicating it to you in such a way that it is, uh, filled with stress filled with worry, filled with anxiety. And yet at Shaw homes, we feel the exact opposite. We feel the process is actually quite simple and very much stress free.

We like to tell our customers is we’ve done this a few thousand times, so it is perfectly okay if you haven’t, you’re not out there on your own, trying to figure everything out. You’ll have your Shaw Holmes team in your corner, right there from the time that you sign the purchase agreement contract and on into the, uh, many, many choices that you’ll have during the design studio, uh, steps and the drafting of your blueprints and the obtaining of the building permit, the construction, the closing, the warranty, and, and the, the premium level service that you’ll experience all the way through.

We have experienced experts in place to guide you through, uh, as you go through this journey. And as, uh, as many have found out that we will even be able to answer the questions that we know that you’re going to be having before you even ask them, just because we’ve done this so many times before. And so let’s take a look at this process of, of building a new homes in broken arrow Oklahoma. And so step one, always, always, always begins with the model home tour. And the model home tour is, is the F the first step on this pathway. And so with these model homes, we take our clients on model home tours. I mean, who doesn’t love to go around looking at beautifully decorated model homes everyone does.

And so at Shaw homes, we take our clients on this model home tour, we go through different communities. It’s about a 90 minute tour where we show case six or 10, or perhaps 12 different homes in different local locations. We they’re, they’re furnished. They’re beautifully decorated. You get to see if your furniture will actually fit in this home. You’ll get the feel for the home based on how the floor plan is laid out and the functionality of the home itself. Uh, you get to drive your own car during this time. No one’s going to hold you hostage. You’ll be able to get away. If you, if in fact you need to get away, uh, during that time, if there’s an experience, we’re going to focus on pricing. Uh, we’re going to focus on, uh, information, not pricing, but information. We’re going to focus on function, and we’re going to show you that there’s going to be something for everybody.

There’s a, there’s a versatility built within all of our plans, and there is definitely something for you. The next step is financing. And in order to help you focus on the plans that will best fit your budget. We, we have a number of proven lenders that we work with, and we, we, uh, help people and assist people through the pre-approval process with, with one of our lenders. It’s very shortly after the model home tour, this is a five minute free application process that can be done online with a 24 hour approval, uh, and, uh, helping you understand what floor plan, what, what area is going to work best for you as you’re building your new home, uh, in, in new homes in broken arrow And so, uh, regarding the home site election, that actually is a step. Number three, you have selected your one of a kind home.

Now it’s time to find the one of a kind piece of land to build it on. And that’s your home site. Not every home, not every floor plan is going to fit on every home site. So now that we know what plan you have chosen, we’ll show you the home sites that your plan will fit on. And so once a home site is chosen, we have you, uh, submit a thousand dollar seven day refundable deposit to remove your chosen. One of a kind home site out of inventory. And it now becomes yours for those seven days. During those seven days, you have the benefit of not having to rush your decisions. You get to take your time, get all your questions answered. It’s almost as if we hit the pause button and allow you to just have a little breather here and make sure that that home site is where you want to place your new home.

We actually don’t even cash. The check and competing customers are, are blocked from even being able to choose that home site for themselves, because it is essentially removed out of inventory. And we’d like to tell our customers this, that while we can build any one of our floor plans, a thousand times over what we cannot, uh, repeat is a, is a Homesite right. Homesites are always a one of a kind. And so when we have the home site reservation, uh, in place, then the next step we’re going to do is, is actually, we’re going to price out your new home. We’re going to take the floor plan and the home site into consideration. And now we’re going to choose what features you want in your new home. Uh, we’re going to meet together and for about 45 minutes to an hour, we’re going to go through the interior.

We’re going to go through the exterior and look at all the options available so that you get to choose, uh, what exactly you desire to have in your new home. A Shaw home is priced based on three components. Number one, the floor plan. You choose. Number two, the home site you choose. And then number three, the amenities that you put within your home. And so at the price out, you get to price the home out the way you want it down to the dollar. And when it’s all said and done, we will print out on the spot, a total price, uh, a total price out of the home itself. You’ll have tons of options to choose from. And, and this is all done in an effort to get you the information you need about pricing so that you can continue moving forward, making the best informed decisions.

Once the price out has been completed. The next step for somebody looking to build new homes in broken arrow Oklahoma is on to step number five, which is the purchase agreement at, at any time during the Homesite reservation period, you can, you can move forward with a purchase agreement, uh, a purchase at the time of the purchase agreement. We’re going to have you sit down and watch a one hour informative video that actually explains to you how things will begin to move forward. From this point, it’ll explain to you what is needed at this time. Of course you’ll know that coming into this meeting, but basically what it comes down to is there’s two decisions that need to be made at this time, uh, to construct, or to begin the building process for your new home in broken arrow. And that is number one.

We need to know your structural options. And then number two, we need to know your home site selection. And once these two decisions are finalized, we can begin to obtain the building permit necessary to start building your new home in broken arrow. Now be aware that colors and finishes are not finalized at this time at this meeting here, the purchase agreement, you will also submit the additional deposit money that is due. The mortgage approval will also be due at this time. We’ll decide if indeed there’s a contingency agreement that’s necessary based upon perhaps a, a home that you currently own that needs to be sold in order for you to purchase your new homes in broken arrow or does it need to be a delay of build for you to get some things together in order to continue the purchase of your new home in broken arrow, either way, congratulations is due at this time because you are now the owner of a brand new homes in broken arrow.
