So today let’s talk about the home buying basics of building a new homes in broken arrow. The building process has been labeled as difficult, stressful, hard, and yet at Shaw homes, we feel as though the process is actually quite simple and very much stress-free perhaps the people that say things like this, or the ones who may have told you things such as this, the stress and the difficulty, uh, are people who have never worked with a company that has a proven process with an experienced team in place to do the things the way that Shaw Holmes does them.

We like to tell our customers this, that we’ve done this speaking about building a new homes in broken arrow. We’ve done this a few thousand times. And so you don’t have to, we know what we’re doing and we’re going to guide you the whole way. We’ve done it thousands of times. And it’s okay if you haven’t, you’re not going to be out on your own, trying to figure everything out. One of the greatest frustrations in building a new home in broken arrow or in any area for that matter is probably one of the greatest frustrations in life is just not knowing what’s next. This is step one of our pathway because we are the largest home builder in Tulsa and in the Tulsa area, we also have the largest collection of fully furnished and decorated model homes. And so we like to take our customers, our clients on model home tours. I mean, who does it love to go around looking at beautifully decorated model homes? And so we take our clients on model home tours. We invite them to join us. And one of the, the benefits of going on the model home tour is that we will pack in a two hour timeframe. What may take a couple of weeks to do on your own. It’s one of the most information packed experiences during your home shopping process. As a matter of fact, we’ve actually been told that by our, uh, by, by those who, who have come with us on the model home tour, and perhaps they never did.

They never built with us, perhaps they, uh, body use Tom or maybe even built with another builder. But the comment that we keep hearing is it is one of the, one of the most helpful things that, that our clients do during the home shopping experience. And so this is step number one, the model home tour model home tour, we will go see 6, 10, 12 different model homes, fully furnished, beautifully decorated, where you and those with you will be in your own car. You’ll drive your own car. Nobody’s going to hold you hostage. This is not about a, a, uh, a pressure filled experience. It’s about information. It’s about focusing on the function of the home. Being able to view and feel the fit and versatility of the home and helping you to see, in fact, with 80 different floor plans, one and two story homes, 3, 4, 5 bedroom, uh, homes built small, medium, large, extra large that we re literally do have something for everyone.

Now, in order for you focus on the floor plans that will best fit your budget. We suggest, uh, that our clients all apply for a mortgage. Pre-approval from one of our preferred lenders. Soon after the model home tour, this free very simple five minute application process can be done online. And within 24 hours, you will be approved. You’ll receive your approval letter. You’ll you’ll understand that you will, uh, be approved for your loan and we can continue moving forward. Now working with one of our preferred lenders, have you the full incentivization that Shaw Holmes has to offer. And so we advise each and everyone to consider using one of our preferred lenders, but certainly you don’t have to, if you already have financing or you desire, you want to use another lender. Step number three is now that you have the floor plan that you’ve chosen, you have the financial piece in place.

It’s now time to find the, the, the home site to build your home on not every floor plan fits on every home site for now that we know the plan, we will show you the home sites that your plan fits on. Now, since you’re building a new homes in broken arrow, we will show you the new home sites in broken arrow. Once you select your home side, we suggest you reserve the home site with a seven day refundable deposit for $1,000. This is called a Homesite reservation, and Homesite reservation allows you to slow the process down so that you’re not making rush dish rust decisions. You were able to take your time, get your questions answered. But reserving that one of a kind new home site in broken arrow is going to allow you to pull that one of a kind Homesite out of inventory.
