Glenn Shaw formed Shaw homes, and ultimately us at Edmond New Homes, in 1985. With the intent to build quality new homes, with 37 years of experience, Shaw homes is the largest builder in Oklahoma. They are responsible for building thousands of homes and are currently building and more than eight cities. Goals come and go in the lifecycle of any company that sticks around for more than 10 years. We are no different in that aspect. After decades of knowledge building, experience, and positive growth, Glenn Shaw rewrote the company mission statement as follows: “I pray that God will: increase our sales, help us deliver an excellent customer experience, and help us to represent him the way we should so that we can invest in his work and bless others.”
Like all companies, Edmond New Homes desires continued growth. However our focus is fully on making sure that our buyers have the best new home purchase experience that they can possibly have. Everything we do is directed at ensuring all expectations on both sides of the home plan are clear for someone buying a new home. Creating an environment of information sharing and communication is a construction enterprise as complicated as new home construction is difficult to say the least. An average new home jobsite can experience the labors of over 200 people. Targets moved by somebody. Architects, surveying, pest treatment, sand, plumbing, concrete, post-tension foundation, and more are all involved just to get the home’s foundation created.
This is where Edmond New Homes’s debts back and looked at everything we do. Every single step of the process was inspected for its good and bad aspects. Expectations of everyone for each step of the building process was examined to ensure mutual understanding would be the glue that bonds a happy customer with a professional new home construction company our goal was to be the best new home construction in the state. In our mission to keep our customers informed, we created and implemented a system that keeps each buyer of the day on the status of their project, and what to expect over the next seven days.

Now let’s introduce you to the president of Edmond New Homes. Glenn Shaw. Glenn grew up in a construction family. Between his dad and uncle, he spent a good number of his early years on construction sites being mentored by his family in Greenville, South Carolina. At 18, he moved to Tulsa to get his MBA at Oral Roberts University. He married and started raising a family and Tulsa quickly became his home. Glenn has built over 2000 homes in over 50 communities all around the state of Oklahoma. He is still very involved in every aspect of Shaw homes, even today, as home building is his lifelong passion.
Joe Antis is the executive vice president of Edmond New Homes. Joe fell in love with home building and the industry as a child and has followed the passion his entire career. After graduating from the University of Michigan with it his degree in architecture, he chose to pursue the hands on site of building for a number of years. Learning several of the trades and becoming a journeyman carpenter. Since 2006, he has been in management with a focus on the business side of home building. Joe was hired by Glenn in 2015 to help him run Shaw homes and grow into one of Oklahoma’s largest home building companies.
And of course, our director of sales, Aaron Antis. Aaron started his career in homebuilding in 2002 when he was meant toward by the VP of sales for the largest homebuilder in the United States. He has worked in almost every aspect of new home construction from framing to finish. He said he architecture at East Michigan University and has worked in commercial architecture as a rendering artist. He has managed the sale of over $1 billion in real estate in his career and has trained hundreds of new home sales professionals.
