We like to tell our clients “We’ve done this a few thousand times, so it’s okay if you haven’t”. You aren’t out there on your own trying to figure it all out. We have experienced expert in place to guide you and answer the questions we arty know you will have. In fact, we probably can already tell you what questions you’re going to have before you have them. So come on and join us and let us take you through the home-building experience.
We start with a model home tour here at Edmond New Homes. Who doesn’t want to look at a beautifully decorated model home? At shahada we have more fully furnished and decorated model homes than any other builder in Oklahoma. So we invite you to join us on what will be one of the most information packed experiences in your home shopping process, the model home tour. The tour allows you to see what would take a couple weeks on your own, in just two hours. Because time is something nobody ever has to much of these days.
In order for us, Edmond New Homes, to help you focus in on the plans that will best for your budget, we suggest applying for mortgage preapproval. Specifically from one of our preferred lenders soon after your rental home tour. This free application can be done online and can only take a few minutes. One finish with your application, you should have your approval within 24 hours. We also have features that are available to you for your plan and create a price quote for you. This is all done in an effort to get you the information you need about pricing so you can make an informed decision.
Now that you have selected your own one-of-a-kind home, it’s time to find the one-of-a-kind piece of land to place it on… The homesite. Not every home kits on every homesite, so now that we know the plan, we will show you what homesite your plan fits on. Once you select your homesite, it’s time to do a seven day refundable deposit called a homesite reservation. This will take your favorite one off of the market for the next seven days, then we will go over any other remaining questions you have before moving forward to the purchase agreement. Homesite reservations are important because we can always duplicate the home, but we can never duplicate the land.

The next step with Edmond New Homes after you reserve your homesite, is structural options and pricing. We will meet back at your favorite model home interview all the included features as well as the optional features that are available to you for your plan and create a price quote for you. This is all done in an effort to get you the information you need about pricing so you can make an informed decision.
Other decisions pertaining to color finishes can wait to be finalized in our Edmond New Homes design studio. At any time during the Homestead reservation, You can move forward with the purchase agreement. At the time of the purchase, we will apply the funds from your homesite reservation and an additional deposit towards your purchase. At the time of the purchase agreement, all decisions for your structure of your home needs to be final, such as number grudges, one-story or two-story, bedroom count, and anything affecting the footprint of the home.
At shahada you will have your own personal design consultant to help walk you through the process of picking out the color finishes in your home. You will be in very good hands, as our design staff has been intimately involved in the selection of the colors you see in our award-winning model homes. Shaw homes has the most well appointed design studio in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City area, filled with everything you will need to be your one-stop shop for visualizing and selecting your color palette all in one location without the hassle of driving to 20 different warehouses all over town. When you’re finished using your color, we will finalize the selections with your signature as approval and the launch into the building phase of your new home.
