Edmond New Homes | Don’t Worry About the Money
At Edmond New Homes we have more fully furnished and decorated model homes than any other builders in Oklahoma. So we invite you to join us on what will be one of the most information packed experiences in your home shopping process, our model home tour. This tour allows you to see you what would take a couple weeks on your own, and just two hours. Because time is something nobody ever has to much of these days. You will have your Shaw homes team right there with you from contract, to design studio, to drafting, to construction, to closing, to warranty. And if you are unsure of what the process is, we’ll be here to walk you through it.
In order to help you focus on the plans that will best fit your budget, Edmond New Homes suggest you apply for a mortgage preapproval from one of our preferred lenders soon after your model home tour. This is a free application that can be done online and can only take a few minutes. One finished with your application, you should have your approval within 24 hours. Yes, it is that simple. All you have to do is take the first step and jump in. But don’t worry, we’ll be here to catch you.
Let’s talk about. Here at Edmond New Homes, homesite reservation. Now that you have selected your one-of-a-kind home, it’s time to find the one-of-a-kind piece of land place it on. The home site. Not every home fits on every homesite, so now that we know the plan, we will show you what homesites your plan fits on. Once you select your homesite, it’s time to do a seven-day refundable deposit called a homesite reservation. This will take your favorite plot off the market for the next seven days, then we will go over any other remaining questions you have before moving forward to purchase agreement. Homesite reservations are important because we can always duplicate the home, but we can never duplicate the land.
Now that your homesite is reserved, we will meet back at your favorite model home and review all the included features as well as the optimal features that are available to you for your plan and create a price quote for you. This is all done in an effort to get you the information you need about pricing so you can make an informed decision. At the time of purchase, we will find the funds from your homesite reservation and an additional deposit toward your purchase. At the time of purchase agreement, all decisions for structure of your home need to be final, such as number grudges, one-story or two-story, vegan count, and anything affecting the footprint of your home. All the other decisions pertaining to colors and finishes can wait to be finalized design studio.

At Edmond New Homes you will have your own personal design consultant to help walk you through the process of picking out the colors and finishes in your home. You will be a very good hands, as our design staff have been intimately involved in the selection of colors you see in our award-winning model homes. We have the most well appointed design studio in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City area, filled with everything you need to be your one-stop shop for visualizing and selecting your color pallets all in one location. This is a plus, so you don’t have to waste your time driving to 20 different warehouses all over town. Because time is something nobody ever has to much of these days.
And when you partner with Edmond New Homes, you will have 100% satisfaction guaranteed. When you are finished using your colors, we will finalize the selections with your signature as approved and then launch into the building to your home. And don’t worry, once your closing has occurred, you will begin your warranty period and have direct access to our warranty department by filling out a warranty claim ticket on our website. In your home owners manual, there are emergency phone numbers if you need answers are held during nonbusiness hours. We have our own in-house warranty coordinator and warranty text to help assist you as you break in your new home.
The two had a result, let’s go over our planner view option at Edmond New Homes. Now that all selection decisions are final, it’s time for the planner view where you will meet your construction manager who will work directly with you through the completion of your home. The plan review is our system of checks and balances to make sure that the person responsible for building the home has had all the details of your home correctly relate to them to ensure a smooth building process. They will go over all the full-size blueprints, specifications, and finishes with you, as well as site plan and home placement at this meeting. When the meeting is completed, it’s time to schedule excavation and get started building.
During the building process of the home, the construction site is open for you to visit at your leisure as we go through the build of your home from groundbreaking to closing, you will receive weekly updates from your construction manager on the process of the home complete with pictures and other info. When your home reaches 100% completion, we will schedule your homeowner orientation meeting. This is where you get a room by room walk-through of your home with our quality control manager where he will help you understand how everything in your new home works. You will learn how to ignite pilot lights, use the application and mechanical as well as do a quality assurance walk-through.
