New Home Construction OKC | Why Are We There?
When you come through here at Shaw Homes, whether you’re looking at new homes and New Home Construction OKC or new construction homes in Oklahoma City. So I was in Tulsa. You’re going to get the chance to see a lot and hear a lot about our process, information about our homes as a whole. And then also getting to see all the different locations. I kind of joke and say they’re very first meeting. It’s like killing two birds or three birds, one stone. We get the chance to talk with you about the opportunities that we have. We get to show you model homes, you get to see the neighborhoods that these homes are being actively being built in and where you’re able to build them in. And you’re also able to get pricing information and monthly payment information and seeing what works best for you. And this is a very common occurrence that we actively make an effort to communicate well and communicate consistently with all of our buyers and all of the buyers that are working alongside us. Now, one really cool factor that I also love getting the chance to talk about is we’ve gotten the chance to go into detail of the before the construction phase and right up until we get the chance to start. But I don’t think I’ve gotten a chance to talk about what happens during and after.
A lot of people don’t realize that. Obviously, we’re not here just to start a build on a home and meet with you before him. We’re here to communicate with you throughout the process and after the process as well. It’s a big, important factor for us. We want to make sure that we’re remaining consistent and communicating well with you as you walk through the process with us here at your homes. We really want to do all that we can to communicate well and communicate properly as you walk through this process with us. And then that way you feel comfortable and you feel you’re feeling like you’re being taken care of and heard from A to Z from start to finish in the process of your New Home Construction OKC build.
That’s something that I walk buyers through. I talk them through. I set that expectation of, but then I also make sure to make an effort to reach out as well. I really want to make sure that I’m connecting with my buyers, calling them, texting them, messaging, seeing how they’re doing, seeing how their builders, talking with them about options and all the opportunities that are going on within their home and as it’s being built. Excuse me. And so it’s such a fun process that we get the chance to show off to our buyers, communicate with them as well, and then also make sure that they’re being taken care of as a whole. So that’s something again, I love getting the chance to do. I love being able to excuse me, you do that for my buyers. So that way they can see what our processes and how it works to benefit them. And then outside of that, they also get the chance to see what exactly can be done as they walk through the process themselves and as we guide them through the structure as well. Because there’s a lot, excuse me, there’s a lot that we really try to make an effort to do in order to make sure that our buyers are being heard, their needs are being met, their wants are being met, as well as their desires and different New Home Construction OKC things like that. And whenever we get the chance to do that, whenever we get the chance to communicate and communicate well, we really get the chance to benefit those involved and benefit each and every person who’s working alongside with us. It makes it really fun, and that’s something that I love getting the chance to do more than anything with each and every buyer. So that’s a little bit about that’s something that I try to keep in mind with my peers, as well as stating, Hey, look, it’s not just the beginning stages that we’re going to try to see in communication with you. It’s not just right now, it’s going to be the future that we try to communicate with you. We try to reach out and stay in contact and have connection with you to make sure that you understand that it’s not just, you know, your salesperson at the beginning and then your construction manager till the end, it’s your sales person from the beginning to the end.
Excuse me, and we’re making an effort to consistently reach out and consistently communicate well and stay on top of all of your process and all of the information that we provide you, the better that we do that and the more that we do that, the better opportunities and providing for you and for my buyer as a whole. And then also, you get to see our process a little better and you feel comfortable walking through it a little more as well. It’s a really fun process that I absolutely love getting the chance to do. It makes it so much fun getting the chance to guide buyers along along the process and making sure that they understand what’s coming next. And a lot. Also, we make sure that they understand like the warranty process, because each and every buyer, they’ve got different warranties and different stuff like that that’s coming into play.
That’s a big factor of their process because we’ve got an a one year everything warranty or two year mechanical and a 10 year structural. And basically these are set in place on purpose to get me to let you know that it’s not just. Building your home that we want to take care of you, we want to build your home and then make sure it’s protected after it’s built as well, so that’s something that I like to remind my buyers of and just stating, Hey, look, we’re not just here, just for one thing, we’re here for your almost the lifetime of you being in your your new home. And for us, especially if you’re looking at new homes and new construction in OKC, New Home Construction OKC, these different areas we’re building in that way were then able to communicate better than others and communicate better than our competition. And to that way, our competition can see the different ways that we’re doing things and they can make sure and feel like they’re being heard, they’re being taken care of and that their needs are being met in the process has been walked through from the beginning.
But then when they step into the middle and end part, we now get the chance to then talk to them about what’s expected, what’s coming next and how we’re going to stay in communication with them and consistently talk with them and guide them through the process and through the steps, different things like that. So that’s something that I love getting the chance to do with my buyers saying, Hey, look, I’m with you right now, but I’m also going to remain with you until the end of your build. I don’t want to just start the build with you. I want to finish the bill with you and make sure that you know and you’re hearing exactly what can be done for you and how we’re guiding you through the process as you walk with us and walk alongside us. So it’s very easy for us to forget about and be forgetful. But I know the people here in the company that we’ve got here, we do everything that we can to be as intentional as we possibly can. It’s very important to us to be to be intentional and to keep our our buyers in mind, in their wants and needs in mind and their desires and mind as well. And I feel like once we get the chance to do that, once we get the chance to go above and beyond and have a little bit of a better structure in mind, then we as a whole, we really get the chance to win. Here are your homes and I’m really getting the chance to work alongside some wonderful buyers and connect with them really well and make sure that they have been their needs have been met.
Their wants have been heard and it’s been a wonderful opportunity that we get the chance to do so. It makes our process as a whole much more enjoyable because then our buyers feel like they’re being taken care of. But like the fun thing is basically what we’ve enacted doing, whether you’re building here with us in Tulsa or if you’re building a new homes in Edmen or new homes in OKC. Basically, what we do from here. Once they sign the paperwork, we send it into our office and there’s about three months of pre-construction time frame that we are working through. And basically it’s getting the documents ratified. It’s getting the paperwork ratified for the home. We get the labor lined up for your new home. We get the purchase orders sent out for your new home. We’re also getting the chance to get the permits pulled for depending on what city you’re in and depending on what excuse me, depending on what section of Tulsa that you’re in as well. And so it’s really cool to be able to show that off to buyers and say, Look, this is what we can do for you. It may seem a little quiet in the the New Home Construction OKC phase, and that’s something that I remind buyers of. I’m like, Look, it’s quiet for now, but once we get work in and once we get going on your home, it will not remain quiet at all. Excuse me, we remain in consistent communication with you and you’re able to see exactly what’s going on in your home.
And we also send what’s called Faizi. Also, we keep you updated with each phase and each change in your home because you know, when each face hits, then you get the chance to see exactly what’s going into your home. And we have a good explanation to explain what we expected over here, what certain things are going to look like in your home. So you can say, Oh my gosh, they told me about this, you know, a while ago, when I got my first phase email about my new home, they were telling me about what the form which looks like and how that helps with my foundation. And this can be applied for new homes and to see as well. These are the exact same practices that we’re having in both locations for just New Home Construction OKC. It remains. It helps us remain consistent and have consistent and great communication with our buyers. So that way, I just feel like whenever builders don’t communicate throughout the process of the build, it just leaves so many open ended questions. And I feel like it makes buyers nervous. They just don’t know what’s going on, and they’re confused. They don’t know their timeline, or they might have had it explained. But you know, months have passed and time passes as you’re building a home. So for us, we really want to do everything that we can to communicate well and reach out well and try to do everything that we can to make the process as smooth and seamless as possible as you walk alongside building a home with us here at your homes. We want to do everything that we can to give you the best experience as you build your. Home with us.
