New Homes Broken Arrow | Getting Financing in Order

Speaker 1: (00:00)
Hey guys, Katherine here with your weekly podcast, talking about new homes broken arrow. And I wanted to talk to you guys recently. We’ve been talking about a lot of interior, um, decor and not even interior, but just anything you’re really going to be seeing as far as trends go in new homes broken arrow. So I’m just going to keep kind of going along with that today. Some of it will be, um, some of the finishes and then some of it’s just going to be kind of like some decorating ideas, but all definitely a lot of things that you can put into your new home in broken arrow, or that you’re going to be seeing when you’re touring new homes broken arrow and the surrounding areas. So one of the things that you’re going to start seeing, um, is a lot of nature.

Speaker 1: (01:01)
So this is going to be a lot of wood. Um, a lot of, not just like wood on your floors, but, um, having, you know, straw, like not straw, um, kind of like, uh, just natural features in your home. Maybe like some of your light fixtures or lamps are going to be made out of natural materials, stone, um, any type of basket weaving or graphs or anything like that. Um, just really natural things that you’re going to start seeing in a lot of new homes broken arrow. Um, we’re going to also, uh, talk about some lighter finishes and we are, um, perhaps going to be seeing a lot of lighter wood finishes. So like your white Oaks, um, your light colored finishes even like a whitewashed wooden, um, dining room table. A lot of what you’re going to be seeing in new homes and broken arrow are going to be your natural elements. And then, um, on your finished items, such as furniture, some lighter finishes, um, blush is a huge color right now. Um, the, the pink, um, tones. And as a matter of fact, we have a Mo Shaw homes has a model. And in that new home, in broken arrow, you are going to find almost the entire house, just kind of goes along with that palette. So you’ve got your blushes and even your corals, your pinks, these are all a lot of trends that you’re going to be seeing in new homes

Speaker 2: (02:59)
And broken arrow. Um, next let’s talk about, uh, some trends you might be seeing in bedrooms. Now, this is something that I haven’t seen a lot of, um, while I’ve been researching, but I’ve definitely heard of it. Um, I think maybe Oklahoma is just a little bit behind, but something that you are going to be seeing in a lot of new homes broken arrow are bold, um, or colorful, like loud, colorful wallpaper. Um, actually you’re going to see a lot of like larger prints and wallpaper as well. Um, and when I say bold, I mean, just like out of the ordinary, not necessarily, uh, your florals or your stripes, you know, what you’re used to seeing in wallpaper and some older homes, um, but in newer homes and broken or newer new homes in broken arrow, you’re going to be seeing, um, a lot of that bold wallpaper.

Speaker 2: (04:03)
And, um, also look for textured wallpaper. Textured wallpaper is really good. It just gives you a little bit of something extra and, um, gives her house a little bit of a unique field because even though wallpaper is popular in new homes broken room, um, you don’t S it’s, it’s a popular trend, but you don’t see a lot of it. Um, a lot of people are putting interesting details in their kitchens and a really simple way that you can do this is just by putting in really unique, um, pulls for your drawer handles. Um, you’re going to see a lot of this and new homes broken arrow. Uh, you’re gonna see maybe some custom painted backsplashes and more towards the look of like Chrome brass and rose gold. And, and even sometimes leather pulls are going to be popular. Just anything really, really unique that you wouldn’t normally see on a cabinet door or a drawer.

Speaker 2: (05:17)
Um, these are all just trends that you’re going to be seeing a lot of and new homes and broken arrow. Then just a way to kind of dress things up. Um, let’s see, what else are you gonna see? Um, lots and lots of color. We’ve talked about this before, instead of like a white or gray kitchen, a lot of people are doing really bold cabinetry in new homes and broken arrow. So we’re going to have a lot of, like I said, um, a lot of bold colors, so maybe like blues or reds and your cabinets, um, even a dark green, those are all just really popular colors, the

Kitchen. It kind of gives you a little bit of something extra, um, to look at. So going kind of back to, uh, what I said, um, about let’s see, I was going to talk about the backsplash in new homes broken arrow, but we already kind of talked about that, how they’re going to be going into, I’ve talked about either a feature wall where like the backsplash goes all the way up to the ceiling. Um, so the tile orange, just having a painted backsplash, um, is really, really popular right now. Um, that’s that full tile wall backsplash that you’ll find a new homes broken arrow are going to be, um, really neat when you’re able to do the large pattern tiles. It kind of just gives your new home in broken arrow, a little bit of an extra, uh, pop of something different. Um, let’s see, like I said, um, lots of windows.

Speaker 3: (07:07)
We’re going to be seeing lots and lots more windows. I know that natural light and an open floor plan has been really popular lately, but we’re going to start seeing even more now more windows to let it natural light. So definitely keep an eye out for that. When looking at new homes broken arrow. Um, I also talked about wood tones about how we’re going to start seeing a lot more wood tones and natural finishes in bathrooms, um, in kitchens as well. So you’re going to start seeing stained cabinets again, or maybe even, um, painted cabinets in a painted island and then a wood countertop, or I’m sorry, a wood, um, top to your island. So there’s just a lot of things. Um, we talked about the farmhouse kitchen the other day about, um, how that’s, you know, something that’s trending right now. And a lot of what you’re going to see in the new homes broken arrow is going to be that farmhouse design. Um, also I feel like I’m starting to see a lot of gold fixtures as opposed to silver now, not like your 1980s gold, but more of like a brushed gold or a copper, um, that I’m starting to see in a lot of new homes broken arrow, uh, that are just things like that are trending. Um, back to the wallpaper where I was talking about things being big and bold, there is also, uh, you can also put in, uh, or put up a large

Painting or a large picture, um, and give your, give your home a pop of color that way. Uh, something just kind of bright and maybe with some texture or just adding a little bit of glitter somewhere. These are all things that you can, um, kind of jazz up your home by doing all of these things. You can jazz up your new home in broken arrow. So hopefully, uh, you guys have some good ideas and you can try out some of these things. If you’re thinking about building new home in broken arrow, or if you are just redecorating, maybe doing a little bit of remodeling, um, we have got Shaw homes, definitely has plenty of things to choose from.
