Hey, this is Jordan, Michelle Holmes, I’m hanging out over here at seven south and what we’re talking about today is being an New homes Oklahoma City builder. This is an exciting thing that we’ve been talking about over the last couple months. That is we are building in Oklahoma City now. We have, we have a branch over there, we’ve expanded our family and so we’re really excited to be able to reach out to a larger city and being able to provide beautiful homes to the Oklahoma City people and that area. We have a phenomenal process. We have a beautiful home, a different, uh, over 78 different floor plans to pick from. And so this is an exciting thing to be able to take you through. We have literally the best process, New homes Oklahoma City construction and, uh, eastern Oklahoma and now we’re bringing it over to Oklahoma City as well. And so we’re excited to be able to talk to you about those things.
What’s so great about our entire path is it sets the expectation. The thing is is there is a lot of things that you probably don’t know and you might think that, you know, the thing is, is when you come through those doors, we do this every single day. We’re dealing with in the New homes Oklahoma City, a industry every single day. We deal with the mortgage side of things all the time and we are the experts in this field and so alive and so when you come in, you don’t build a home every single day. So we are the experts in it and so we want to make sure that we establish ourselves as the expert and answer your questions. Even if you have built a home before and you might not have built a home with us. And even if you have, I guarantee you that our processes even changed since then.
We’ve really come into. I’m just a much easier way into purchasing a home. We realized that, um, when you’re, when you’re buying a home, then it has a tendency to have this preconceived notion to be overwhelming now. And I can understand why it would be, but our process is not. It’s actually been really methodically sought through an easy, and this is from feedback from our customers and just being around since 1985, finding out what works and what doesn’t work and so we’ve found those things out and so we basically put it into a path that shows you, hey, this is where you start and this is how you get to the home or get to the end and ultimately ending in your dream home. New homes Oklahoma City so we want to make this process as easy as possible for you to go through and to understand. And so people go through it and they’re like, man, this is so helpful.
And in fact they get to the point to where they already know. All right, so, well, we already did step number one. How do we get to get to step number two and three and on step number, uh, what does that look like? And so we essentially start training our customers to use that path because it’s there to help. That’s all it is. And we find that when people go into building a home, especially ones that never have before, they might be younger, when they start showing up, they’re like, I don’t even know where to start. I don’t even know where to start financially. I don’t even know where to start with making the selections were to build what it even looks like. What are the monthly payments look like? The tour is seriously the single most helpful thing that you will do during the home buying experience. That’s just what I say. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen it weekly because I do them every single week and how much it helps people, but our customers say that it’s literally the most helpful thing that even the ones that end up buying a used home and even the ones that ended up buying from another builder, they said, Hey, that was seriously the most helpful thing that we did was going on that tour.
The reason why is we actually have over 78 different floor plans so it’s going to save you a bunch of time and be super helpful for you. New homes Oklahoma City when we go through these, we know the plans like the back of our hand and so when we go on these tours we can find out the things that you’re looking for, the things that you want and things that you don’t want. And we can narrow it down for you instead of you having to do all the research on your own. We’re the experts. We’re here to help you do that. So when we go on that to where we started in one area and we work our way across so that way you can physically walk the plans. I don’t know about you, but I’m an extremely visual person. I have to see things. So if you’re trying to describe how a home looks on a two dimensional piece of paper, I might get somewhat of the idea of the layout, but I’m not going to get the full effect of actually walking through it and saying it.
New homes Oklahoma City in fact I was helping a customer not too long ago and they’re like, you know what? We were on the website and we looked at a lot of the plans which most people, that’s where they start, they get online, they start looking and they’re like that blueprint that that floor plan drawing really doesn’t do the size of this room justice and so they were talking about being in the Redford and the size of the nook and the height of the ceilings. You don’t get that. And the other part that we do that a lot of other builders down is we furnished our model homes. We have more fully furnished and decorated model homes than any other builder in the area and the purpose of this is just. It’s practical. Wouldn’t you want to see what it looked like to have the sectional couch in the living room or the king size bed in the master or what it looks like to have all the other furniture in there.
Like a, you know your vanities in your lamps and your tables. It’s not there just to look pretty. Even though it looks great to be able to do. It’s there for the practical use so that way you can envision what it looks like to have your furniture in there. It’s an entirely different thing walking through it empty and trying to imagine it in there versus walking through and actually seeing all of the furniture in there. And so we. The reason we have laid out amateur is because we’re talking about the function behind the design of the homes floor plan. That’s it. That’s the whole purpose of it. The thing is, is when we’ve designed a plan, we have put a great deal of thought into why we laid out the rooms the way that we did and at any given time you’re looking at version one, two point Oh, or three point, oh, plan.
Because we’ve changed it according to what’s popular, um, and what’s, what people and what’s really kind of trending right now. And so as an New homes Oklahoma City builders always important for us to be able to emphasize that when you’re going through and looking at it, it’s there to lay out to what works best for you. That’s why we do it. So then when you go through and you can let us know what your life, Hey, I don’t like, I don’t like that the island is turned towards the great room. Great. We actually have two plans where it’s turned towards the nook here and you say, well, I like plans that have larger pantries. That’s the most important thing. We have those maybe the pantry spaces and as important, maybe you want a ton of cabinet space. We’ve got a plan for that. It’s called the Redford.
Maybe you a really would like a divided closet we have that maybe you want to see is my closet. Most of our plants can do that. And so when we go on that tour where we find out what those things are, we answering your questions were the experts in that. And in doing that you also get to see the different communities and neighborhoods that we build out. We build an over 28 different communities, um, and, and always increasing, especially for an New homes Oklahoma City builder. We’re increasing out over there as well. And so with that being said, uh, you get to see all the different ones now that’s not all of them, that’s the only about six to 12 different homes that you can look at, um, in those communities. But we do build another areas beyond that as well. But you at least get that, that spectrum of those different homes in the different communities and get a feel for what works for you.
Some people coming in, they’re like, yeah, I just want to be in the Arrow area. It doesn’t really matter where. And then even then we can just try to narrow down, hey, I mean, I know that you said it doesn’t really matter where you’re at, but like where do you work? Maybe we can find something that’s a little closer or is it a budget that you’re looking to sit closer to? Because if it’s a budget then we’ll have to build them a certain other area if budget. And New homes Oklahoma City, you know, your maybe your prices and what’s most important. It’s more about location than we have. Places like that. The biggest thing about going through that as we always want to make sure those three things that people are looking for, it’s price, location, and amenities. And unless you have an unlimited budget, you’re going to have to compromise on one of those. So if you’re looking for amenities and, um, price and location, and you, I have a $250,000 budget and you want to be in jinx, there’s going to be something that you’re going to have to compromise.
