Oklahoma City new homes | Going Through The Models

Oklahoma City new homes | giving you attention

Hey, thank you so much for taking the time to read this article about your Edmond new home. Um, the best thing you can do is really find all the information so you can make the best decision when looking to buy your Oklahoma City new homes. Um, what we’re going to talk about today is what it looks like to find all the information. A shawl. Homes really has the best system and processes to find all the information for your admin new home. I’m one of the best things about Shaw homes is that we’ve created a simple path that talks about the 10 easy steps on what it looks like to build your Oklahoma City new homes. Uh, the first thing that we’re always trying to do is take you on a model home tour. We’ll go into detail more about the model home tour in a minute. But what I’m doing currently is I am pricing out, um, one of our homes.

And that’s one of the coolest things about shaw homes is that, you know, we’ve been doing it long enough. We know exactly how much every piece of lumber cost exactly what the bricks cost the tile and the kitchen right down to every single nail in the entire house and screw. So we know exactly what to charge our customers. Most builders can’t do it that way and it’s not really their fault. They just don’t know what it’s going to cost them. So every other builder just kind of gives you an edit, educated guess on what it would be like or what price you would have to build your Oklahoma City new homes. But here at Shaw homes we, like I said, know exactly what it would cost. So I’m one of those 10 steps that I mentioned earlier is called a price out. And in the price out you have itemized pricing with what every option costs.

So if you wanted a receptacle and the floor of your great room, you know you could do that if you want to double ovens in the kitchen or hardwood floors throughout, you know, or gutters on the entire House for Edmund in your home. So what I’m gonna do is I’m just going to go through some of these options that I’m putting into this house right now just to show you what it looks like to build your Oklahoma City new homes. Um, so one of the, one of the options that we put in frequently or gutters all the way around the house and some up in some communities, these gutters are included around the entire exterior but another certain communities, it’s not included. Um, and really the main reason we don’t include it is because let’s say you wanted a doggy door in the back door of your home and that just came included.

And then for the people that don’t want a doggy door is still came included and you still had to pay for it. So the reason we don’t include certain things is we don’t force our customers to pay for things that they don’t want. So if you do not want gutters run the entire of the house or you don’t want to pay for them, um, you know, we’re, we’re, we’re not forcing you to choose that option. So that’s why we do the model. Are the, uh, the price out? I’m one of the things is, is carpet and standard areas, Oklahoma City new homes, so the standard areas are it’s tile and all of your wet areas. So, um, the entryway, um, the kitchen, the note really all of your wet areas come included with tile and then the rest of the house it comes included with carpet. Now, one of the coolest things about shaw homes is that whenever we go through this price out, we can delete all the flooring that you don’t want.

Let’s say you don’t want carpet in the great room, um, you want other surfaces in lieu of carpet. So that’s what we choose and the price out. Um, and then as we go through here, we’ll just delete all of the carpet that you’re not going to use. And then we’ll put in, let’s say a standard, um, would looking tile throughout. That way you know, you can have the flooring that you want and really designed the house exactly how you want it. So that’s what we’re doing here is we’re just doing a price out for your Oklahoma City new homes. Um, the home that I’m pricing out right now is called an addison p, the Addison p is one of our most square foot efficient five bedroom houses and we’re building it in a community called Yorktown. Um, so what I’m going through now is I’m selecting all the tile floors and nonstandard areas.

Um, for instance, um, they want tile flooring in the bedroom hallways and, and then they also want tile flooring in the great room, mainly because they want it all to flow. They want tile flooring throughout the entire downstairs common areas. That way there’s no transitions, gives it a really nice uniform look and a popular thing these days is, um, you know, uh, would look tile throughout the entire house. So that’s what we did there. The next thing I’m going to do is they actually wanted to extend the mirror in the master bathroom to eight feet high. So that’s one of the options that you can do in your shaw home is extend the mirrors. So whenever we do that, like I said, it extends the mirrors to eight feet high in the master bathroom. So we’re going to go ahead and do that. The other thing that they wanted to do is, uh, regardless plumbing, so they wanted the toilet, the Ada toilet in lieu of the standard round and what the Ada toilet is a is it’s chair height, so it’s easy to get up and down from and it’s also elongated.

So that’s an benefit of why you’d want the master toilet, tempe and Ada toilet. But again, if you don’t care for a really tall toilet, then we don’t force you to pay for things that you don’t want. So if you’re looking to find out more information about your Oklahoma City new homes and what it looks like to find the bottom dollar price, definitely sit down with somebody here from Shaw homes and go over this system. Like I said, there’s 10 easy steps to get you into a shaw home. Um, some of the other things that you can do here is a seasonal closets that are 12 foot ceilings with rod only a. This includes an additional flush ceiling light opening. And, but the fixture is not included. So if you were wanting to do these seasonal closets with which this customer is wanting to do, the standard height is nine or 10 feet, um, but in certain floor plans we can’t do it, but what a seasonal closet looks like is, you know, instead of the standard closet hide, it actually extends the, the top of the ceiling up to a 12 foot high and it gives you additional storage space and you know, space to hang your clothes that way.

In the summertime you can, you know, put all your winter coats up there. Um, and then in the winter time you can put all your summer clothes up there. Um, another thing that we can do is tile the master shower. So one of the things that this customer is doing is they’re putting in what’s called a shampoo niche in the master shower. This is just a, were you a shampoo shelf, if you will, but it’s inserted into the tile. And a lot of people like to maybe accent this with some different tile in the back of that shelf. Really just kind of helps your shower pop if you do want some shelves in there, um, but you’d be surprised how many people want a fiberglass insert. So if you don’t want to pay for a tiled shower, again, we don’t force you to pay for things that you don’t want.

So if you’re looking for an Oklahoma City new homes, um, that’s affordable. I’m definitely check out show homes because like I said, we have a much lower base price and then we give you every month there’s a new incentive. So this month there’s $15,000 in free upgrades, um, to choose, you know, all the upgrades that you want. Um, but if you don’t use the entire $15,000 in upgrades, you can take it either off the just the base price of the home or towards closing costs. So really $15,000, however you want to use it. And that’s really helpful because the $15,000 actually goes a very long way because in our homes you’re not paying for a brand new item, you’re just paying the, in that cost. For instance, in the kitchen, um, if you know 36 inch cabinets come included. Now if you wanted to go upgrade that to a 42 inch cabinets, again, you would just pay the difference.

So to upgrade the entire kitchen cabinets in your Oklahoma City new homes is like $300. So like I said, you’re just paying the difference from the 36 inches that are included to the 42 inch cabinets, which is $300, so that $15,000 goes a very long way. Um, so if you’re wanting to build an edmund new home, check out [inaudible] dot com for all of our available communities in Edmond and what it looks like really to get into your very own Oklahoma City new homes. But the first thing you’re going to want to do is join in on one of these model home tours.
