Tulsa Custom Home Builders started step one with preliminary matters. This is where we create a plot plan of your lot showing the location of your home on the property. The building plans will be submitted to the developer or architect committee for approval. This is also will submit any building permits to the city or county. Step two is the design studio. This is where we get to design your interior and exterior. And don’t worry, your signature is required for any and all arrangements made so that we you know that you approved everything.
The next three steps that we use at Tulsa Custom Home Builders is the foundation, the Ruffin process, and the exterior. This is essentially where we lay the foundation, build a house on the lot, and start making your custom dream home into a reality. Step five is the exterior process in one of our finest wants to watch. During this stage, substantial progress is made very quickly. Walls, headers, beams, floor trusses, and raptors are engineered to ensure proper structural properties throughout your dwelling. This is quite literally, when your house becomes a house.
Step six is probably one of the biggest steps. This is where the mechanical matters come out. This is where all of the plumbing, electric electric needs, ductwork, and everything else take place. This is quite literally the innards of your house. All mechanical trades have their Ruff in work inspected and then the frame inspection is done as well. Upon all approvals, insulation is installed, and the exterior masonry is normally done at the same time. Step seven in step eight go hand-in-hand. This is where we insert the drywall, trim, and painting of all the walls. This is also where we do our interior finish. After this stage, your house is really a house. The last two steps are final detailing and finally, closing. We detail clean everything to make sure that your home is in the optimal moving condition. This is also where you will do your plea closing walk-through and quality assurance inspection.
You should make special note to file for homestead exemption on your property taxes.
