The next step in our process here at shaw homes is going to be the plan or view, uh, the plan review is a really important part of our process and I think it’s one of the steps in the process that, um, other home builders really miss out on. And with Edmond New Homes Oklahoma I think it’s very important for our clients to know that I’m making all of these decisions finalized and going over all of these and it’s really to make sure everyone’s on the same page here. It’s to make sure that everyone, um,

really knows exactly how each piece of the puzzle is going to come together and that everyone knows exactly how these pieces are going to be laid out. So now that all of the selection decisions are final, it’s time for the plan review. This is where you’ll meet with your construction manager and that’s going to be who you’re working with directly throughout the completion of your home. Um, so you started with your new home specialist, Edmond New Homes Oklahoma, and they really helped you select that floor plan. And then you went on to the design studio where you worked with a design consultant and they helped you with all the selections in the home. Now is when you were actually working with your construction manager, and this is going to be your foreman or your, your talking point from now on will be with the construction manager because they will be in charge of all of the different trades that we’ll be working on your home. So the plan review is our system of checks and balances to make sure that the person responsible for building the home has had all of the details of your home correctly relate relayed to him to ensure a smooth building process. So at this point in time,

you will get with your construction manager and go over all of the things that are going to go into the completion of your home. I’m with Edmond New Homes Oklahoma It is important to have all of these checks and balances before the building process gets started. Um, so at this time,

at this point in time, your construction manager will go over all of the full size blueprints, specifications, and finishes with you, as well as the site plan and home placement. At this meeting, when this meeting is completed, it is time to schedule, excavation and get started in building your custom home. Like I said, this is really the most important part of the process. It’s to go over everything completely so that you know exactly what is being worked on, how they will go about doing so to make sure that everyone’s on the same page and everything looks good. So at this point you’re ready to move on to step eight with custom homes, broken arrow. This is going to be the building process. Now, during the building process of the home, we will have two scheduled meetings with you. The first is called the preach dry wall meeting. This is at the point in construction where we are ready to dry wall, but all of the guts of the home are still exposed for you to go over with your construction manager. This is a great time to review everything in the home because it’s easier to make an adjustment to something before the dry wall than it is after the drywall. The second meeting we schedule with you will be called the homeowner orientation meeting with custom homes, broken arrow. Um, and so that’s why our process takes between five and seven months of the building process, but during that time we encourage you to visit the location and talk to your construction manager about any questions that you may have, um, because we really want you to feel confident in knowing that your Edmond New Homes Oklahoma is being built. Now it’s time to move on to the closing. This is going to be step nine. We will notify you of your closing date approximately 30 days prior to your closing by emailing you a closing letter of helpful information and instruction. This letter will have contact information for the different utility companies you will need to contact in order to get service turned on and your name.

This is when you move in. This is when you make all those final decisions or all those, all those final signatures and handoffs that are necessary. You will have your closing at the title company office and all of the paperwork from Sha homes and Edmond New Homes Oklahoma will already be there when you arrive at your closing. An agent from the title company will walk you through the paperwork and give you the keys when all the signatures are completed. This is really the most exciting step in the process. It’s when you are making all of those last signature is and final signatures on, on getting into your new home. So we see a lot of people get very, very excited at this point in the process, um, because you have been through all of the steps. You have made, all of the decisions and you’ve seen your home really come together and at this point in time you, you get to finally move in. You get to live inside of this home that you have built from the ground up and you get to see all the fruits of your labors as they say and can get to get to move in and get to put your feet up and, you know, really get excited about a living in your new home.

Um, you know, the Kiddos get to finally move into their bedrooms. Then you get to sit in front of that new fireplace and cook dinner and you’re brand new kitchen and bring groceries into that awesome new pantry that you have. And this is just really going to be such an exciting time. Um, because when you are building a custom home, the custom homes, broken Arrow and building with shaw homes, you’re really getting a quality product here and we are excited to for you to experience that quality product as well. Finally come together and be excited to entertain in your new home and, and bring all of your friends over and meet everybody in the neighborhood. And step 10 is going to be your warranty. Um, we do have an inhouse warranty department which really sets up apart from other builders. We are really excited that we have this, um, because it is, it’s something that is,

that is different for other builders, other builders, Edmond New Homes Oklahoma, other builders don’t have a warranty department and aren’t able to, um, you know, go forward with that. So once your closing is occurred, you’ll begin your warranty period and have direct access via phone or email to our warranty department in your homeowner’s manual there. Emergency phone numbers if you need answers or help during non business hours. If you don’t contact us for any needs, then you’ll be contacted by our warranty coordinator at 60 days and again at 11 months after closing, if you have any needs.
