Driving directions to the 3 communities Shaw Homes is building homes in Edmond:

Preserve at Covell: Set back in the existing trees it is located just 5 minutes from I-35 on the south side of Covell Road.

Ridge Creek: Coming from downtown Oklahoma City, take I-40 E, keep right at fork to continue on I-35N/US-62 E. Take exit 143 for Covell Rd., and turn R onto Covell Rd. and drive 2.5 miles then turn L onto N. Douglas Blvd., for 1 mile, turn L on E. Coffee Creek Rd. and Ridge Creek is on the right.

Woodland Park: Coming from downtown Oklahoma City, take I-40 E, keep right at fork to continue on I-35N/US-62 E. As each home site has it’s own size and details, Shaw Homes has 79 home plans that we build. Taking in the facts of a home site is one step, while another step is determining which homes will work on that particular site. Some of our customers choose the home plan first, others choose the home site first and select a plan second. It all comes down to what’s most important to you!

One of our goals as a new home builder is to respect the fact that home buyers like to be able to see what they can build before they choose. To help, Shaw Homes has quickly built a selection of model homes throughout the Greater Oklahoma City area. We currently have two model homes in the Edmond area: Ridge Creek, showing the beautiful Westport home plan, and Woodland Park, displaying the Redford home plan.

Edmond Schools

If school rankings are important in your decision to build a new home in Edmond, you will be happy to know that all public schools in Edmond received an A rating except for Ida Freeman Elementary School, which received a B+. Washington Irving Elementary School received an A+ rating, with an 18:1 student to teacher ratio. Santa Fe High School received an A rating, with a 21:1 student to teacher ratio.
